CHI-Kids, a discussion list of the ACM http://www.acm.org, is for designers, producers, researchers, and practitioners of children's media. Many attendees of prior Dust or Magic Institutes are members.
Subscribers can post to the list using this chi-kids@acm.org
If you want to change the settings of your CHI-Kids subscription, please send an e-mail, from your own e-mail account, addressed listserv@acm.org
(Do NOT address it to chi-kids@acm.org, because that will
not work AND it will send your command to all 500
CHI-Kids subscribers!)
and in the body of the message type your command (the
subject header can be anything...doesn't matter).
Your command will tell the listserv computer what to
do with your subscription. Here are 4 commands:
To subscribe to the list: SUBSCRIBE CHI-KIDS [YOUR NAME]
Examples: Subscribe chi-kids John Smith
Subscribe chi-kids Linda Adams
To unsubscribe from the list: UNSUBSCRIBE CHI-KIDS
To receive CHI-Kids postings in one e-mail per day as a
digest: SET CHI-KIDS DIGEST
To stop the digest and receive each posting separately:
SET CHI-KIDS NODIGEST
